Please join your Washington-Mid Atlantic SAG-AFTRA siblings in solidarity on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 3 p.m. for informational leafleting at Amazon’s HQ2 in Crystal City. Amazon’s studio, Amazon Prime, is responsible for producing a variety of very well known productions. SAG-AFTRA members, along with labor movement kin and allies, will be gathering together in support of our rights, our livelihoods and our futures! We want to make sure Amazon, along with the other major studios and streamers, understands that the AMPTP is refusing to negotiate a fair deal with our members, including the very people appearing in the Amazon Prime Original series.
SAG-AFTRA will be leafleting Amazon HQ2 in three shifts. Please RSVP to one (1) shift. The other times are 8:00-11:00AM and 11:00-3:00PM.
When you arrive, please sign in with designated SAG-AFTRA staff. We have a limited amount of SAG-AFTRA STRONG T-shirts for SAG-AFTRA members which will be handed out to members on a first come first serve basis. To receive a SAG-AFTRA STRONG t-shirt, please bring your SAG-AFTRA member ID card or digital card in the member app. If you already have some SAG-AFTRA gear to wear, please do! Don’t forget your hat, sunscreen and water bottle!
