Welcome to the Neighborhood, Kalvin Haltenhof!

Kalvin Haltenhof is SAG-AFTRA’s new regional set relations representative based in the Chicago Local office.

Born and raised in Western Illinois, he always had a passion for creativity and the arts, which included acting in local theaters, playing drums and singing at every opportunity. Eventually, he managed a pop punk band — but that’s another story for another time.

A Columbia College Chicago graduate, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in arts, entertainment and media management and interned at some of Chicago’s most successful talent and casting agencies. He also is a certified yoga instructor and a Realtor.
                     
“I thrive on helping and standing up for others around me, and being the regional set relations representative for SAG-AFTRA allows me to do that for our members,” says Haltenhof. “Meeting our members on set and being a resource for them is one of my favorite parts about the job, so keep an eye out for me on a set near you!”

Haltenhof reports to National Director, Field Services Jim Damis.
