Working For A Better Future

Miami Local’s National Board member Nancy Duerr and SAG-AFTRA Senior Business Representative Ruth Paul joined the University of Miami’s Business of Film and Television class on Aug. 31 for a presentation and Q&A, introducing students to SAG-AFTRA and union contracts available to them, including the Student Film Agreement. This outreach is an important organizing tool to educate pre- members, content creators and producers about the benefits of SAG-AFTRA membership and working with SAG-AFTRA talent and staff. Thanks to Professor Ronnie Khalil for coordinating this event ant giving his students the opportunity to be the best that they can be!
