SAG-AFTRA members at WTOP-FM and WBAL-AM were awarded several regional Edward R. Murrow Awards by the Radio Television Digital News Association. The RTDNA has given these awards to local television and radio stations since 1971 to recognize outstanding achievements in electronic journalism.
WTOP-FM received 10 Murrow Awards, including awards for Excellence in Innovation, Hard News Piece, Sports Reporting and Excellence in Social Media. WBAL-AM was recognized for Breaking News Coverage, Continuing Coverage and News Documentary. Congratulations to the hardworking members at WTOP-FM and WBAL-AM!
