Attention SAG-AFTRA Michigan Members,
The SAG-AFTRA Michigan Local is pleased to participate in the 2018 Labor Day Parade in Detroit on Monday, Sept. 3. The theme of this year’s parade is “Labor Will…Rally! Vote! Prosper!”
Please join your fellow union brothers and sisters as we march in this time-honored event.
Our staging area for the parade is at the corner of Michigan Avenue and Rosa Parks Boulevard. We will march with members of AEA, DFM and IATSE.
Staging begins at 7 a.m. and the parade will step off at 9:30 a.m. The route begins at Michigan and Trumbull; we march east on Michigan to Washington Blvd. The parade then turns south on Washington marching past Cobo Hall and the UAW Ford Program Center at 151 West Jefferson, ending at the Labor Legacy monument.
