New England Local members and staff have been busy bouncing around the greater Boston area this past spring. Whether through speaking, labor actions, learning opportunities or networking, it is all in the name of solidarity! Take a look at what we’ve been getting into these past months.

On April 7, the SAG-AFTRA New England Local accepted the Bread and Roses Award, given by the New England Jewish Labor Committee during its 24th Annual Labor Seder, an interfaith dinner that connects the story of Passover with workplace justice issues. The award honored the SAG-AFTRA New England members who stood together to demonstrate the power of collective action during the 2023 TV/Theatrical/Streaming strike.
