Please consider the following points to mention for each Senator:
- Mention you are a constituent
- Include your address so they know you are a constituent
- You are calling/emailing regarding Senate Bill SF 2765
- Mention you are in the industry
- Personalize your message, perhaps with a brief industry story
- Encourage them to support the $25 million annual cap and elimination of the sunset
- You may have seen statistics from Minnesota or other states about how tax credits grow the film/TV industry, but it’s more powerful to tell the Senator what these changes to the film tax credit will do FOR YOU (jobs, income, family, home, etc.)
- If you are a vendor, include how the changes will affect YOUR business, your return on the investment
