Los Angeles commercial performers mix, mingle and learn more about SAG-AFTRA’s #AdsGoUnion commercial organizing initiative.

In a dynamic display of unity and camaraderie, over 100 Los Angeles commercial performers came together in Studio City on March 28 for the first in-person #AdsGoUnion event since 2020. Hosted by the National Commercial Performers Committee at the Animal Bar, this gathering was more than an educational or mixer – it was a celebration of community and collaboration, and underscored the collective power of SAG-AFTRA members who want to help make Ads Go Union.

The event drew a diverse array of talent who all had the chance to share experiences and forge connections with fellow performers. Whether the attendees were seasoned commercial performers or newcomers to the scene, everyone present helped strengthen the bonds that form the foundation of our union and the #AdsGoUnion campaign, and contributed a powerful sense of belonging and purpose.

Attendees were excited to learn about the return of regular, in-person #AdsGoUnion events. The meetings aim to help members learn more about how to get involved in the campaign and ways SAG-AFTRA is working to increase commercial opportunities.

#AdsGoUnion is a member-driven organizing campaign that protects and increases union commercial work. Learn more on the Ads Go Union webpage or email questions to AdsGoUnion@sagaftra.org.
