The SAG-AFTRA Chicago Local Senior Radio Players have chosen their first performance of 2019, and it’s a double-header! Escape: Shipment of Mute Fate and The Adventures of Sam Spade: The Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail Caper are the two old-time radio classics from the Golden Age of radio that will be recreated live at the Chicago Cultural Center’s Claudia Cassidy Theater on March 14.

We won’t tell you the whole story for each of the radio performances, but we will share with you a little tidbit from both presentations:

•    Escape: Shipment of Mute Fate revolves around an unwelcome passenger loose on an ocean liner.
•    The Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail Caper revolves around a strange detective from Chicago who cuts himself in on Sam’s bunny rabbit caper.

Have we wet your whistle for more? Good. Then we will be seeing you on Thursday, March 14, at the Chicago Cultural Center’s Claudia Cassidy Theater. Doors open at 6 p.m., with show time at 7 p.m. Admission is free!
