AFM Opens New Hall in New Orleans

The American Federation of Musicians New Orleans Local 174-496 recently opened a beautiful new meeting, recording and rehearsal hall. "I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening celebration as a representative of SAG-AFTRA on May 27,"  reported Local Board member Robert Bennett.

A number of local musicians attended and enjoyed an outstanding jam session. "The music was great! The band was led by Deacon John, who is a well-known artist and member of SAG-AFTRA," added Bennett.
