Shoot Location: Greater Philadelphia, PA

Shoot Dates: Three shooting days- starting on or about November 2.

Synopsis: Overwhelmed by the mundane life in the office, an international student tries to find aliens and his identity in the mountains.

Seeking actors able to portray:

  • JUSTIN KAO: 18-25, Taiwanese/Chinese, male, queer international student interning at a finance office. Alienated and melancholic. He wants to fulfill his desires and sense of belonging. (Lead)
  • LIAM JONES: 18-25, white, male, college student interning at a finance company. Handsome, fit, and taller than Justin. Friendly to everyone.
  • LILY WHITE: 23-30, white, female, Justin’s colleague. Has a crush on Liam. Professionally friendly to everyone.
  • MONICA JOHNSON: 40s, white, female, Justin’s supervisor. Corporate and plays by the rules. Cares more about her family than work.
  • MARK WILLIAMS: 35-45, white, male, a missionary. Passionate about Jesus but implicitly biased against homosexuality. Not familiar with the Asian community in town.
  • YUXIN NIN: 50s, Taiwanese/Chinese, female, Justin’s mom. Cares a lot about Justin but also sometimes stresses him out. Much more liberal than other East Asian parents. Not very sensitive to her son’s feelings.
