Be Counted: Constitutional Requirement for Census

It is time for SAG-AFTRA's biennial census. Pursuant to Article V., Section B.4. of the SAG-AFTRA Constitution, the National Executive Director is required to conduct a membership census to capture all paid-up members in good standing as well as local assignment and membership category designation for those members as of Oct. 31, 2022.

The purpose of the census is to certify the number of paid-up members (paid thru Oct. 31, 2022) as of that date and recommend reapportionment of the National Board to reflect any changes to the membership. The certified numbers will then be used for all union and local elections.

In order to be counted in this census, a member's May 2022 dues (your last dues period) must be paid by this Monday, Oct. 31, at 11:59 p.m. PT. Please note: Recent or upcoming billings for November 2022 dues do not affect being counted in this census. The census counts those who have paid their May 2022 dues obligation by Oct. 31, 2022.
