Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking background performers for the upcoming HBO series The Gilded Age which is set in the 1880s.

Seeking Actors Able to Portray:

  • 1880s Middle, or working class types
  • 1880s Caucasian female maids working in wealthy households
  • 1880s Caucasian, young, male, attractive footmen (6'+, slender build) in wealthy households (must be ok with period haircut, being clean-shaven, and possibly wearing a wig) (possible fitting in December in NYC)
  • 1880s Upper class caucasian men ball guests (height range 6'2 and below)
  • 1880s Upper class caucasian women ball guests (height range 5'2 - 5'8, waist size 24 - 34inches)
  • 1880s musicians to play a 12-member orchestra with real classical music playing experience
  • Must be ok working around smoke and have natural-colored hair. All women must have hair 4-6 inches past shoulders in length or longer.
