Project Title: Crawfish: We the Invisible

Logline: Crawfish, living under a freeway overpass in the East Bay, uses poetry, spoken word and percussion to share his stories of life on the streets, systemic racism and climate change, and how they affect his attempt to make it in the world — shedding light on one man's journey from 'home' to 'homelessness.'
Seeking performers able to portray the following roles:
Patricia
- Female, African-American, 30s.
- A full figured waitress with a beautiful smile working at a comedy club. Patricia serves the drinks while playfully reacting to her comic boyfriend, Crawfish, on stage. She shares two young boys with Crawfish. No lines, three scenes.
- Works TBD date in mid-April.
Older Aretha
- Female, African-American, 60s-70s.
- Actor to resemble real life actor Angela Lewis.
- Seen lying in bed in hospice and dealing with her Alzheimer's. She earnestly asks her son, Crawfish, about his family. Two lines, two scenes.
- Works TBD date in mid-April.
Young Cristofer (Crawfish)
- Male, African-American, 8-10 years old.
- Sweet and adorable looking, but also without fear in dealing with his mother's rants. Young Cristofer and his younger sister are unfortunate nomads due to their mother's displacement and struggles. One line, two scenes.
- Works March 3 in Palo Alto.
Octavia
- Female, African-American, 6-8 years old.
- Sweet and adorable looking, but also without fear in dealing with her mother's rants. Octavia and her brother, Cristopher are unfortunate nomads due to their mother's displacement and struggles. No lines, one scene.

Tyrel & Winston
- Male, African-American, 8-10 years old.
- These adorable brothers are excited to greet their father. No lines, one scene.
- Works TBD date in mid-April.
