SAG-AFTRA Accredited Intimacy Coordinator Training Programs

To ensure the safe growth and expansion of the Intimacy Coordinator profession, the SAG-AFTRA Intimacy Coordinator Accreditation Program encourages and promotes the highest standard of training for the field of intimacy coordination. This program allows Intimacy Coordinator training programs to receive recognition from SAG-AFTRA and allows interested candidates and employers to identify qualified training programs. The accreditation program is not intended to imply an endorsement of any individual or company by SAG-AFTRA but rather only to confirm that the minimum training standards for the program have been and continue to be met. 

To qualify for SAG-AFTRA accreditation, programs must meet minimum standards outlined here for curriculum requirements, trainer experience and equity & inclusion initiatives. Once accredited, a biennial review of the organizations will be conducted to ensure continued compliance with the accreditation program.

While there are a variety of training programs, courses and workshops available online, please be sure that the key outlined areas of experience, expertise and training required to execute the responsibilities of the position are considered in your review process of any company or individual offering services*.  Training companies that meet the minimum requirements of the accreditation program are encouraged to submit documentation for consideration to intimacy@sagaftra.org.
