Defense Seminar Provides Protection for Performers

On Feb. 21, the Kaufherr Center hosted a self-defense seminar for members. Brian Plocharczyk, a third-degree black belt and a local SAG-AFTRA member, guided the members through various de-escalation and defense tactics for various circumstances. Attendees were given the opportunity to practice with Plocharczyk’s feedback and input.
