KRC Presents On Grief & Grieving: Mental Health in a Time of Uncertainty & Unrest

Jul 20, 2020 - 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM CDT

Where: KRC virtually via Zoom

Grief is a natural response to change, trauma, and loss. How can processing this moment in time through the filter of grief help us as we move ahead? Join us for a panel conversation with Heather Bates-Denton (LMFT), Julie Brannen (MA, LPC, R-DMT, GL-CMA), and Kandice Moss (MA, LLPC, R-DMT) as they discuss the concept of grief and how it is relevant in this season of uncertainty and unrest. We will also explore what power each person has to accept new circumstances, apply new meaning, and identify healthy ways to move forward with awareness while adapting to the "new normal."

RSVP: Reservations are required. Please click here to RSVP.

She seeks and finds Union and Non-Union Talent of all ethnicities throughout the islands of Hawaii. In addition to her knowledge of, and access to, the local talent pool, she and her team have a comprehensive understanding of local & national SAG-AFTRA rules/rates/requirements as well as our State’s current Child Labor Laws.

On an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, on the piece of land that is literally the furthest away from any other land mass in the world, Katie revels in nurturing the local talent and proving time and time again that YES, WE CAN!

Gary Marsh, Breakdown Services

Gary was born in Doncaster, England, emigrated to Hamilton, Ontario at the age of 6, and drove Route 66 with his parents to Hollywood to launch his career as a child Actor at the age of 10.

In 1971, his mother - who had become a Hollywood Agent - asked Gary to drive to the Studios, read the script in each office and take notes so she could pitch her Actors. Perhaps he might also run into a Casting Director here or there.

That small task led Gary to revolutionize the casting process. By creating the Breakdowns and a delivery service to facilitate distribution, Gary standardized role descriptions and access to information for everyone. This levelled the playing field for Agents and created a whole new system for Casting Directors, Agents and Actors.

Gary continues to be a groundbreaking innovator and Breakdown Services has evolved to provide the most complete services for Actors, Talent Representatives, Casting Directors and Filmmakers. As the premiere casting support service in the world, we release over 43,000 projects annually across all genres including; film, TV, theatre, new media, commercial and voice.
