Film Tax Bill Gets New Life

Missouri State Rep. LaDonna Appelbaum has introduced the Show MO Act, HB 2473, which would reauthorize tax credits for certain expenses related to the production of qualified motion media production projects in this state.

Efforts have been ongoing in both state houses to pass a film tax incentive in Missouri, and the Missouri Motion Media Association is working tirelessly get the bill pushed through. 

If passed, the bill would take effect in August and extend the tax credits until Dec. 31, 2030. Read about it here.
