A diverse group of people smile in front of a long tan table. Two screens that read Kids and Teens Day at the Sag-Aftra Foundation are on either side of them.

On March 29, the New York Young Performers Committee hosted young performer SAG-AFTRA members at the New York office for a fun-filled day of programming and classes in the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Voiceover and On-Camera labs. SAG-AFTRA Executive Vice President & New York Local Vice President Linda Powell welcomed attendees and their parents/guardians to the event. Participants received a free headshot session with photographer Rex Lott and also got to meet with casting directors Angela Mickey and Carolyn Volpe. The parents/guardians had a separate line of programming, including an overview of the resources available to young performers and an introduction to the SAG-AFTRA Foundation. The event was sponsored by a grant from the SAG-AFTRA Producers Industry Advancement and Cooperative Fund.
