Greater Boston Labor Council Presents Award to Local

The Greater Boston Labor Council celebrated “The Year of the Strike” at their annual holiday party on Dec. 12, 2023. This year, the GBLC recognized the work and achievement of many unions with an award based on a chant. SAG-AFTRA New England, and particularly the group of members that mobilized to picket on Nantucket in September, were given an award with the words, “Most Inspirational: Who’s got the power? We got the power! What kind of power? Union power!”
