More than 200 SAG-AFTRA members and staff took part in the New York Healthcare Safetynet Committee’s Health Fair held on Nov. 7 in the SAG-AFTRA New York office. Members in attendance received a variety of free services, including hearing and vision tests, blood pressure and BMI measurements, and other services. Members were also able to get free flu shots provided by The Actors Fund and supported by funding from the SAG MPPWF and the AFTRA Foundation. New this year, members were able to get free and confidential HIV and hepatitis C screenings provided by the Ryan Chelsea Clinic.
