The SAG-AFTRA Health Plan Board of Trustees has unanimously approved infertility treatment benefits for participants beginning Jan. 1, 2025.
Participants and their covered spouses will be eligible for medically necessary nfertility treatment coverage through Carrot, a comprehensive network of infertility treatment benefit providers. Covered infertility treatment and prescription drugs obtained from Carrot providers will be covered with no cost share up to the family lifetime maximum of $30,000.
As of the print date of this publication, the Health Plan was still working to implement the new benefit and is asking members to hold off on asking Carrot for details until the fall, when
the process will be announced.
Until then, the Health Plan will continually update its website with any new information.
