House Rejects Amendments To Weaken Film and TV Production Incentive Program
On Tuesday night the Massachusetts House of Representatives passed the Fiscal Year 2018 state budget. Two amendments had been filed to the budget that attacked the film and TV production incentive program.
These amendments were DEFEATED! Thanks to your advocacy, hundreds of emails in opposition to the amendments were sent into the state House in a matter of hours on Monday and Tuesday.
The state budget now moves to the state Senate where we expect the Senate proposal to be released in mid-May with debate to follow.
