Ceremony Will Be Simulcast Live at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on TNT & TBS and Available Next Day on HBO Max

LOS ANGELES – SAG Award® and Oscar®-winning actress Kate Winslet will present the 57th SAG Life Achievement Award to five-time SAG Award and Oscar-winning actress Helen Mirren during the 28th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards®. Accepting SAG-AFTRA’s highest accolade from her co-star in Collateral Beauty, will be a true highlight of the ceremony, which will be simulcast LIVE on TNT and TBS on Sunday, Feb. 27 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT, and will be available the following day on HBO Max.  

Given annually to an actor who fosters the “finest ideals of the acting profession,” the SAG Life Achievement Award will be the latest of Mirren’s esteemed catalog of international industry and public distinctions recognizing her masterful performances on stage, screen and television. Her previous honors have included an Oscar, multiple SAG Awards, three Emmys®, numerous BAFTA Awards, a Tony Award®, a BAFTA Fellowship Award, an Olivier Award, The Film Society at Lincoln Center’s Chaplin Award, and she was made a Dame of the British Empire in 2003. To date, Mirren is the most decorated SAG Life Achievement recipient with a total of 13 SAG Awards nominations and five SAG Award Actor® wins. 

Kate Winslet has brought to life some of cinema’s most captivating and memorable roles. Her resumé consists of critically and commercially acclaimed work as well as a span of awards and honors that illustrate Winslet’s talent and solidify her a permanent place in cinema history. Winslet was most recently seen as ‘Mare Sheehan’ in the limited series Mare of Easttown on which she also serves as an executive producer for HBO. For her portrayal of ‘Mare,’ Winslet received a Primetime Emmy® Award and Golden Globe® Award for Best Actress in a Limited Series, and is currently nominated for a SAG Award for Outstanding Female Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series. To date, she has received a total of 13 SAG Awards nominations and three SAG Awards wins for her roles in Sense and Sensibility, The Reader and Mildred Pierce.

Winslet will star in several upcoming films including as ‘Ronal’ in James Cameron’s sequel to Disney’s Avatar, alongside Zoe Saldana and Sam Worthington; in Ellen Kuras’ Lee on which she also serves as a producer and starring alongside Marion Cotillard, Jude Law, Josh O’Connor and Andrea Riseborough.
