Throughout the many crises 2020 has brought us, Portland’s Labor’s Community Service Agency has stood ready to help union members in our region.
Since 1974, LCSA has been a champion for the health, well-being, and stability of families and individuals throughout the Columbia-Willamette region. SAG-AFTRA members may know them best for their yearly Presents From Partners program that provides holiday cheer to the families of financially impacted union members, but the organization has also been providing assistance to members impacted by COVID-19 and the wildfires that swept across the Northwest.
As you might expect, providing this assistance has severely impacted LCSA’s funds, and they are in need of support to continue providing service to members of Oregon’s labor movement through the rest of the year. If you have any funds to spare, please consider donating to Labor’s Community Service Agency’s online fundraiser by clicking here.
If you or a Portland SAG-AFTRA member you know are in need of assistance, please contact the Seattle Local office at (206) 282-2506 or portland@sagaftra.org, and staff can put you in touch with resources like those provided by LCSA.
