Labor Solidarity at the Workers Unite Film Festival

The 11th season of the Workers Unite Film Festival took place in New York City Oct. 7–21 at Cinema Village in New York City and virtually. A celebration of global labor solidarity, the festival showcases student and professional films from around the world that publicize the struggles, successes and daily lives of all workers in their efforts to unite and organize. New York Local Executive Director Rebecca Damon made welcome remarks on Thursday, Oct. 13. Damon addressed filmmakers about the ease of working with SAG-AFTRA.
