Bill on Governor’s Desk
Your support will help the industry in Florida.

This is your final call-to-action on this important bill.

The True Origin of Good Act, a consumer protection bill that focuses on rogue websites whose owners/operators hide their identities and sell music and/or movies from the site, has passed both the state Senate and House, and is headed to the Governor’s office for signature. We need your support – ask the governor to sign the bill.

This consumer protection digital labeling statute emulates the True Name and Address laws for physical music CDs and movies currently in each state. Google is trying to kill the bill by asking the governor for a veto. We can’t let this happen.

Please call the governor and his staff, and ask all of your colleagues and friends to call as well. We want to show our governor how important this is to Florida’s music community.

Call-to-action: Call Citizen Services for Executive Office of the Governor at (850) 488-7146 and say, "I AM CALLING IN SUPPORT OF SB604/HB271 AND WOULD LIKE TO ASK THE GOVERNOR TO SIGN THE BILL INTO LAW."

Thank you for your support.
