As previous email communications have explained, a bill has been filed in Massachusetts to eliminate the Commonwealth’s Film Tax Incentive. If this were to happen, it would have a devastating impact on film production and work opportunities for our members in the region.
Right now SAG-AFTRA members from across the Commonwealth are joining other film professionals at the Massachusetts State House to send a strong clear message to elected officials that films made in Massachusetts equal good jobs for the people of Massachusetts!
If you weren’t able to join your fellow members at the State House today, it is important that you contact your representatives this afternoon and let them know that FILMS = JOBS!
