A Letter from Your National Board Member

Hello Fellow SAG-AFTRA Philadelphia Local Members,

I hope this message finds you healthy and safe as we look forward to the year ahead.

So far, 2023 has been another busy year with our immensely important TV/Theatrical Contracts negotiations with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers set to begin on June 7, our Local and national elections this summer and the 2023 National Convention this fall!

As we prepare to enter negotiations, we look to show our resolve and enter negotiations from the strongest position possible. The negotiating committee, as well as those of us on the National Board, are unanimously joining to ask you to vote YES and authorize a strike. Eligible voters should have already received a postcard with voting instructions. We urge you to vote YES right away. I have enjoyed connecting with members from across our region this past year again and as always, welcome any outreach with feedback and ideas, or to answer any questions that I can that are within my purview. I look forward to continuing to participate in discussions and decisions that impact our Local and the entire union.
