At this month's Coffee Connection, the SAG-AFTRA Arizona-Utah Local is supporting a holiday charity drive. We will be collecting non-perishable food items and toiletries for St. Vincent de Paul to distribute during the upcoming holiday season. 

Connections are casual open forum gatherings where SAG-AFTRA members and their guests can network, share industry news and enjoy a complimentary morning beverage. Arizona-Utah Local leaders will be in attendance to share union information. Look for SAG-AFTRA table signage.

San Diego Local Membership Meeting and Dinner

Please join your fellow SAG-AFTRA San Diego Local members for the San Diego Local Membership Meeting and Dinner.

Members will have the opportunity to learn and ask questions of elected representatives and staff. The event will start with the membership meeting, followed by dinner. A cash bar will be open to members.

If you’re a union eligible performer curious about learning more about SAG-AFTRA, join us for a fun evening of networking, noshing hors d'oeuvres, and information! Members will share why SAG-AFTRA is an integral part of advancing their career, you’ll learn how SAG-AFTRA came to be and why it matters to be a union member in a so-called right-to-work state. 

There will be plenty of time to ask questions and mingle with Arizona-Utah Local leaders and staff. This event is free for eligible performers and ASU students.

Please join your fellow entertainers and raise your voice in song this holiday season to bring cheer to those who need it most. Our annual Nashville Holiday Caroling event is right around the corner and we’d love to see you. We’re going to visit three different locations with lunch provided by McNamara’s Irish Pub. People who participate in this event annually say it’s one of the most rewarding things they do all year.

The SAG-AFTRA San Diego and San Francisco-Northern California Locals will be conducting Wages & Working Conditions (W&W) meetings in preparation for the negotiation of the SAG-AFTRA Commercials Contract and the SAG-AFTRA Audio Commercials Contract (collectively, the “Commercials Contracts”) which expire on March 31, 2025.

Proposals for this negotiation are developed through the involvement of members like you. Make your voice heard and participate in this very important process. Meetings are open to all paid-up SAG-AFTRA members*

RSVP: Meetings will be by Zoom. RSVP below (you must be logged in to RSVP). You will receive a reply from commercials2025@sagaftra.org with a link to electronically sign the required confidentiality agreement. 

The Zoom link will be included with your registration reply. You  must have a Zoom account that identifies you by name to participate.

If you cannot attend a W&W meeting or caucus, please make sure your voice is heard. You may submit proposal recommendations by email at commercials2025@sagaftra.org. Recommendations must be received by Thursday, November 14, 2024.
