Please join us for the 2024 Chicago Local Annual Membership Meeting! It's a fun time to get to build community and network with your fellow SAG-AFTRA members and learn more about what's happening in our local and national union.

We will have opportunities to win swag, light hors d’oeuvres during social hour, and Executive Vice President of SAG-AFTRA, Linda Powell, as our special guest.

Social hour reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the meeting and guest panel will start at 7 p.m.

Parking passes will be available for S&P Parking at 10 E Ontario St, Chicago, IL 60611. $14 for a 4-hour pass or $16 for a 12-hour pass. Cash only.

Registrations are encouraged but not required.

This event is only open to paid-up SAG-AFTRA members in good standing (paid thru Apr. 30, 2024 or Oct. 31, 2024.) No guests are allowed. Parents/guardians of performers under 18 years old are welcome.

Please come and join your fellow members in celebrating women at the Firebirds Wood Fired Grill (located at 110 N Pointe Drive, Dania Beach, FL 33004) for the second mixer of the year.  The mixer will be from 3-6 pm ET on May 13, 2024.

Snacks will be provided and a cash bar will be available.  This event is open to members only and is sponsored by the National Women's committee.

BMO SmartProgress, financial education programs provided by EVERFI, Inc., is hosting financial workshops for SAG-AFTRA members.

This seminar will focus on budgeting. Discover strategies to build a simple budget and pay off debt.

On Wednesday, May 1, Los Angeles workers and community groups will march to celebrate this year’s May Day theme “Solidarity is Power.” Join us in our SAG-AFTRA contingent as we march on International Workers’ Day.

Where: SAG-AFTRA will be meeting at the corner of Sunset and Gower by Denny’s. Make sure to look for the SAG-AFTRA banner.

New Orleans Local stunt performers are invited to our first social event to mingle with other stunt performers, meet Local Board members and union staff.

SAG-AFTRA National Director of Stunts & Safety Pat Perez and Local Director Lisha Brock will be present. Join us on the Greenway Porch Patio for a complimentary cocktail, mocktail or soft drink. Additional food and beverages will be available for members to purchase.

Join the Missouri Valley Board for the annual membership meeting.

The Board will provide updates on what’s happening in your local, including infrastructure, contract work, and the success of the reinstatement of the Missouri Film Incentive.

The meeting will also provide an opportunity for members to discuss their ideas and concerns. How can we work together to help our local flourish?

We encourage you to share your success stories, challenges when creating your own content, and difficulties flipping non-union work to union work.
