Local Leaders Meet VP Kamala Harris

New England Local President Andrea Lyman and Local Executive Director Jessica Maher were invited by the Greater Boston Labor Council to Pipefitters Local 537 on Nov. 9, 2023, to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week. The guest speaker was Vice President Kamala Harris, whom both Lyman and Maher had an opportunity to meet. The event was held the morning after the end of the TV/Theatrical/Streaming strike and Harris was excited to congratulate SAG-AFTRA on a hard-fought win.
