Numerous New Orleans Local members attended the Louisiana Film Entertainment Association’s annual meeting and holiday party at Second Line Stages on Dec. 9 to celebrate the end of the strike and the extension of Louisiana’s film program. New LFEA President Jason A. Waggenspack of The Ranch Film Studios was introduced by former LFEA President and SAG-AFTRA member Trey Burvant. Emily Chenevert, film veteran and newly elected House representative was the guest speaker. Attendees had an opportunity to contribute to the Create Film Jobs PAC for a chance to win prizes and to aid legislative and lobbying efforts for the organization’s promotion of film economic incentives statewide.
