SAG-AFTRA Foundation Presents: REAPER - From Download to Installation to Configuration to Your First Record with James Romick
This event takes place at Noon PT / 3 p.m. ET
REAPER (Rapid Environment for Audio Production, Engineering, and Recording) is a digital audio workstation (DAW). While REAPER can be used for all areas of VO, it has gained momentum in the recent years within the audiobook industry.
From our instructor James Romick, “IMHO, REAPER is the nearly perfect DAW for VO recording. I’ve been using it and configuring it for nearly 8 years now and discover new things about it all the time."
Starting at square one, this intro-level class will take you from installing the program, configuration and doing a basic recording.
**While all levels are welcome, basic audio terminology, knowledge and experience with a DAW will be necessary to follow along.**
