Self-tape auditions have evolved from a mere convenience pre-pandemic, to a standard practice in the past two years. The number of self-tape auditions has risen astronomically, and they often include requests that place an undue burden on our members – multiple locations, unsafe activities, props, styling and the list goes on.
Join the SAG-AFTRA President's Task Force on Education, Outreach & Engagement and national leadership for a look at how self-tapes are changing the casting process and what SAG-AFTRA is doing to address these challenges.
Please submit questions or comments to sagaftra.org/PTEOEquestions. Unless otherwise requested, your name may be read aloud during the program if your question is selected. Due to time limitations, not all questions will be addressed during or after the program.
This program will be recorded and may be later shared in whole or in part on SAG-AFTRA’s website, podcast and social media channels.
