SAG-AFTRA Foundation Presents "Your Home Studio: The Do's and Don'ts"

During these uncertain times, one thing is and has been certain: a home studio for voiceover is a must -not just during this time, but even after.

Led by VO Lab engineer and VO talent, Tatiana Grey, this workshop will cover everything you need and need to know about home set-ups including: the basic necessary equipment, maximizing your space, tips and tools to help sound conditions, working within budgets, helpful resources and the right software/hardware for different areas of VO.

This class will give you the opportunity to ask questions pertaining to home studios, so come prepared to ask away!

When: 1 PM ET/10 AM PT, Sept 10. Check-in begins at 12:30 PM ET / 9:30 AM PT.

Orientation is the first step to enrolling in the services of the Actors Fund's Career Center

The Career Center addresses a central challenge for performing arts and entertainment professionals: navigating the episodic nature of work in the industry. For many, survival work—initiated to make ends meet—ends up draining the creative professional and becoming more of a problem than a solution. This orientation will help you begin to take the necessary steps to identify meaningful work that complements your life in the entertainment business.

When: Orientation for The Career Center is held every Monday, except national holidays, at 12 p.m. ET and 1 p.m. PT.
