Earlier this year, SAG-AFTRA's Stop the Hate Week brought together professionals from across the entertainment and media industry to focus on advancing equity and inclusion on screen, in recording studios and newsrooms, behind the scenes and throughout the industry. Stop the Hate Week featured panels, presentations, conversations and keynotes led by SAG-AFTRA members, as well as affinity organizations with whom we partnered on the shared mission of razing barriers and ending discrimination. He will also cover the vital role of an editor in the TV and film process.

Join us for an important update on the revised COVID-19 safety protocols in the joint SAG-AFTRA, DGA, IATSE and Teamsters/Basic Crafts Return to Work Agreement with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers.

The new safety protocols, which went into effect on July 19 and will be in place until at least September 30, 2021, makes modifications on workplace practices, taking into account differing levels of risk based on production location employee vaccination status. The revised agreement also includes updates to testing and PPE requirements; rules for producers' mandatory vaccination policies; and revised travel and transportation requirements.

SAG-AFTRA National Executive Director Duncan Crabtree-Ireland will provide a comprehensive review of the new protocols focusing on changes you can expect to see on set.
