SYNOPSIS:

CHERRY follows the wild journey of a young man (TOM HOLLAND) who meets the love of his life, only to risk losing her through a series of bad decisions and challenging life circumstances.  Inspired by the novel of the same name and directed by ANTHONY and JOE RUSSO, this is a coming-of-age story of a man on a quest for purpose and human connection.

BIO:

Ciara Bravo has become one of the most versatile actors of this generation across film and television.

Upcoming, Ciara will co-star alongside Tom Holland in the Russo Brothers’ highly-anticipated feature CHERRY. The film, which is based on Nico Walker’s acclaimed best-selling novel of the same name, follows an Army medic suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, who then becomes a serial bank robber after an addiction to drugs puts him and the love of his life in debt. The film has been acquired by Apple TV+ and will release in theaters on February 26 and on Apple TV+ on March 12.

Ciara will also co-star in John Pollono’s feature SMALL ENGINE REPAIR, alongside Pollono, Jon Bernthal and Shea Whigham. An adaptation of the 2011 Rogue Machine Theatre stage production, the film chronicles three blue collar childhood buddies who meet under murky circumstances after hours in an out of the way repair shop, where the arrival of a fourth man triggers long-simmering resentments. In addition, Ciara will co-star in the upcoming film COAST, for which she is also Associate Producer. The film features an exciting ensemble cast and live musical performances. On television, she appears in FX’s limited series A TEACHER, based on Hannah Fidell’s critically-acclaimed Sundance feature of the same name. The 10-episode series explores the story behind the mugshot of a female high school teacher caught in an affair with her male student, revealing the complexities and consequences of these illegal relationships. It debuted on FX and Hulu on November 10, 2020.

In 2018, Ciara appeared in Hannah Fidell’s feature film THE LONG DUMB ROAD, an official selection for the Sundance Film Festival. In 2017, Ciara appeared in Marti Noxon’s Netflix feature TO THE BONE, alongside Lily Collins, Keanu Reeves and Carrie Preston. The drama follows a young woman’s struggle as she battles anorexia. The film premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival and was featured as a contender in the U.S. Dramatic Competition. She also made a cameo appearance in Universal Pictures’ NEIGHBORS 2: SORORITY RISING, a role which showcased her comedic charm.

Ciara is perhaps best known for her breakout television roles as a series-regular in Fox’s SECOND CHANCE and as a co-star in Fox’s RED BAND SOCIETY. Ciara also co-starred opposite Mark McKenna in the YouTube Premium series WAYNE, from the writers of DEADPOOL, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. The series made its world premiere as an official selection for the 2018 Tribeca TV Festival, where it received rave reviews. WAYNE became available on Prime Video on November 6, 2020.

Ciara made her debut on the small screen in the Nickelodeon hit series BIG TIME RUSH. Following, Nickelodeon cast her in several television movie roles including the lead in JINXED. Her audience appeal brought Nickelodeon’s JINXED record-breaking network viewership ratings. Other television credits include guest roles in CBS’s NCIS, ABC’s AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D, and Hulu/Blumhouse Television’s INTO THE DARK.

Ciara studied acting with Larry Moss during his Master Class Workshop and continues to study with Larry's prodigy, Aaron McPhearson. To further her acting career, Ciara has chosen to put her initial dreams of being a documentary filmmaker and director on hold and deferred her admission to film school. In the meantime, she plans to gain as much knowledge for the craft by watching and learning from those who she has the privilege to work alongside – some of which are among the best in the business.

Ciara currently resides in Los Angeles.
