Grab a seat and tune-in as we shine a light on the need for greater humanization in the crafting of genuine and authentic stories of Native Americans. We’ll delve into some of the ways that Native actors and storytellers have been part of the fabric of the American scene since its inception and look at how today’s narrative has yet to be a true reflection of the culture in today’s programming.
Join SAG-AFTRA President's Task Force on Education, Outreach & Engagement for our latest panel discussion that features actors of Native American heritage who are striving for more inclusion within the entertainment industry with contemporary and more compelling portrayals in storytelling and imagery. Panelists will share how each has made their own contributions in the fight towards better representation, casting inclusion and better portrayals on-screen, while giving industry tips on acting, creating content and career longevity.
