SAG-AFTRA Foundation Presents: Studio Connectivity: Phone Patches, Source Connect, IPDTL, and More. (Frequency Restriction)

May 30, 2020 - 12:00 PM to 12:00 PM EDT

Where: Online

"Talent must have source connect!"  "Talent's studio must be remotely accessible!" "Job will be directed via phone patch!"

You may have been seeing a lot of these statements in regards to voiceover auditions these days.  To do these jobs, you must have a home studio, and that studio must be remotely accessible.  Studio connectivity is technology that allows your home studio to be remotely connected to directors, clients, casting directors, and engineers from anywhere in the world.  With professional studios closed down for the moment, it is essential that your studio is accessible by those who can give you jobs!  In this class we will cover the basics of these technologies and give you resources to help you decide which is the best for you and how to set them up.

When: Saturday, May 30, 3 p.m. ET/ 2 p.m. CT / Noon PT

This technology is of no use to you if you don't have a solid home studio, however.  So, as a prerequisite for this class it is mandatory that you either already have a home studio.

If you have already taken this class, you will be removed from the RSVP list.

This class will take place over Zoom video conferencing.

Click here to RSVP. If you see a Waitlist button, add your name to the Waitlist.  You will be contacted if seated or if seats become available.

Requirements:

  • A computer (optimal), tablet or phone (if applicable) with video capabilities and a microphone (USB, analog or computer mic).
  • A stable Internet connection (wired is optimal), as this program will be held on an online group/meet platform.
