A conversation about all things voiceover with respected voiceover agents Maureen Rose and Micaela Hicks.
Moderated by Wendy Rosoff

PANELIST BIOS

Maureen Rose, VP Adult Commercials & Voiceover at Osbrink

Maureen Rose is a graduate from the Visual and Performing Arts program at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Since joining the Osbrink Agency in 2004, Maureen has built the Voiceover Division into one of top competing Voiceover Departments in the industry. Shortly after her ninth consecutive year at the agency, she took on an additional role to also head the Adult Commercial Division. Maureen is most recognized for her astute eye/ear for scouting talent, passion for dialogue directing and her love for developing talent and maintaining business relationships based on values that were instilled in her from her mentor Cindy Osbrink.  Maureen is currently VP, Adult Commercials and Voiceover at Osbrink.

Micaela Hicks, Animation & Gaming Agent at Vox

Micaela Hicks launched her agency career as a receptionist at SBV in October of 2000.  Within a year, she became a scheduler/booth director and later earned an assistant position for an animation agent.  She then moved over at Solid Talent where she worked on multiple areas of voiceover including; commercial, animation and video games, a department within the agency that she built from the ground up. She soon secured a position with Atlas Talent, primarily working in commercial voiceover,  but she was also involved in political ads, animation, video games, promo and trailers. She believes the foundational component of her evolving career is her ability to identify and help develop actors who are fresh, funny and bring their own unique perspective to each audition and job. She has worked diligently to nurture relationships with advertising firms in Chicago, Minnesota, NY, San Francisco, Los Angeles and in other cities across the country, as well.  Those intentional efforts are to ensure that she is the one that advertising firms call first, and that the talent on her roster gets primary consideration for new campaigns and projects.  Micaela is currently an animation and gaming agent at Vox.
