A single-session workshop facilitated by Jaime Delgado, LCSW focused on identifying financial goals and getting specific about the flow of money in our lives. Participants will learn simple strategies for tracking income and expenses in a way that makes sense for performing arts and entertainment industry professionals who don’t always earn and spend the same way each month, and be connected with resources and an action plan to take the next step. 

Note: This event is open only to professionals in the performing arts and entertainment industry. Registrants will receive instructions for joining the webinar approximately one (1) hour prior to the event start time.

This group is intended for everyone who does the challenging work of caring for a loved one who is an older adult (whether a partner, spouse, parent, friend or other family). This initiative gives voice to the caregiver in a supportive, confidential and safe space, as well as looking at the importance of self-care, including mind-body exercises, community, discussion and expression for replenishment and empowerment.

SYNOPSIS

This class will cover the basics of making a professional Self-Tape and how to audition remotely using Facetime, Skype, etc.

These sessions provide a time to break down concepts into practical action items by which an actor can individually apply to their professional pursuits. This session will last for 1.5 - 2 hours. By creating a solid plan, audience members will have the steps to create a budget, get out of debt, build an emergency fund and begin to save for retirement. This session will provide a greater understanding of the role of the resume and how an actor can best use it as one of their marketing tools.
