We unequivocally condemn workplace harassment in all its forms, including sexual harassment. We are committed to finding solutions to ensure a safe work environment for our members.
When performers’ work involves nudity, sexually explicit performance or close physical contact — hyper-exposed work — you are uniquely vulnerable and special care must be taken to ensure you are respected and that the integrity of the work is maintained.
SAG-AFTRA’s Collective Bargaining Agreement with the AMPTP, anchored in the requirement of informed consent, already contains explicit terms that specify the way hyper-exposed work is to be conducted and must be strictly followed. But in order to have SAG-AFTRA contracts reflect the reality you face and meet the needs of those of you who do this work, this special national caucus meeting has been established to hear directly from you during this wages & working conditions process.
Join us in a safe space for this informative session that will include co-facilitators from your EEO & Diversity staff in New York and Los Angeles with expert backgrounds in this industry and these sensitive areas in particular. Join your fellow members so we can hear from you ahead of our upcoming negotiations as we look to realize the larger goals of positively shifting the culture in our industry, supporting and upholding your fundamental right to be safe in your person, and work with integrity by being treated with dignity and respect.
