Rally for Our State Incentive Program on June 11

Jun 11, 2019 - 5:30 AM to 10:00 AM EDT

Where: Massachusetts State House

Please join us for the rally Keep Film Jobs Alive in MA followed by visits to your legislators and a hearing on the bills that have been filed to eliminate the sunset provision of the Massachusetts Film and Television Incentive Program.

RSVP: Email  benjamin.winthrop@sagaftra.org. It is important that we know who is attending so we can prepare appropriate materials for you to bring to your legislators.

As you may well be aware, the Massachusetts Film and Television Incentive Program automatically sunsets in 2022. While 2022 may sound far away, episodic series are making decisions now about where to locate in the coming years.

The New England Local has been working diligently with our industry partners to help eliminate the sunset provision of the Massachusetts Film and Television Incentive Program and keep these job opportunities coming to the Commonwealth of Massachusett - and once again, your state legislators need to hear from you!
