A single-session workshop facilitated by Jaime Delgado, LCSW focused on identifying financial goals and getting specific about the flow of money in our lives. Participants will learn simple strategies for tracking income and expenses in a way that makes sense for performing arts and entertainment industry professionals who don’t always earn and spend the same way each month, and be connected with resources and an action plan to take the next step.

Orientation is the first step to enrolling in the services of The Career Center. 

The Career Center addresses a central challenge for performing arts and entertainment professionals: navigating the episodic nature of work in the industry. For many, survival work—initiated to make ends meet—ends up draining the creative professional and becoming more of a problem than a solution. This orientation will help you begin to take the necessary steps to identify meaningful work that complements your life in the entertainment business.

A commercial demo -everyone's gotta have one.  Whether you are just getting started in VO, already have a demo, have a demo in progress or want some general pointers, this class is the place for you!  First, we'll go through some demo basics and then open it up to the group.  Come ready to talk commercial demos with the EIF VO Lab staff in a safe and encouraging environment.

Please note:  This class will specifically focus on commercial demos only.

Do you have a plan for your money? Do you tell your money what to do or are your surprised at the end of the month by how it is spent? By creating a solid plan, audience members will have the steps to create a budget, get out of debt, build an emergency fund and begin to save for retirement. Participants will leave knowing that they can begin their path of financial freedom.
