The SAG-AFTRA Los Angeles Conservatory offers a low-cost opportunity for members to hone and develop their craft through classes, workshops, lectures and symposia.
Mission Statement
The SAG-AFTRA Los Angeles Conservatory Committee works on a local level to facilitate, encourage, and empower all local SAG-AFTRA members to expand their knowledge and advance their career objectives through educational programs overseen by dedicated industry professionals. The Conservatory offers members a means to nurture their talent, business acumen, and craft to sharpen and broaden their skill sets in varied forms of production and performance. The goal is to provide a pathway to build and maintain a sustainable career.

Classes and Special Events
The L.A. Conservatory Curriculum Subcommittee works perpetually to provide a robust selection of classes to serve Conservatory members. Throughout the year, members will find classes to cover topics such as voiceover, improv, social media, business of the business, commercial, theatrical and many more. Actors’ Evening
These are monthly moderated panels that bring industry professionals to our Conservatory. The lively and informative panels are often composed of casting directors, working members, show runners, producers, SAG-AFTRA staff, agents and casts of a show.
Young Performers
The Los Angeles Conservatory is pleased to offer classes during the school year that are specially tailored to young performers under the age of 18. Topics include Audition Technique, Script Analysis, Social Media, The Business of the Business and more.
Conservatory Intensive
Each year, the L.A. Conservatory Intensive Subcommittee coordinates a special weekend which
