On Friday, November 9, SAG-AFTRA members from the Washington-Mid Atlantic Region joined fellow entertainment professionals and cinephiles at the Maryland Film Industry Coalition’s ninth annual Reel to Real Party. This year’s party featured special guest Lawrence Gilliard, Jr. and recognized the work of TV writer and producer David Simon and Maryland Senator Edward Kasemeyer. This event not only celebrated the best of Maryland but also raised funds to enhance the Coalition’s impact to attract film and television productions that create high-paying jobs for crews, actors and production staff!
