On Feb. 15, the Nevada Local Conservatory hosted the Break into Audiobooks Today workshop at SON Studios in Las Vegas. Led by SAG-AFTRA member, audio narrator and coach Ron Butler and SAG-AFTRA Associate Executive Director and Labor Counsel Richard Larkin, everything was covered, from getting started in audiobooks to home studio basics and union contract and rate information.
The feedback that was received afterwards included member comments such as, “It was more information than I anticipated, and I found it very useful to share,” and “I am inspired to pursue this field further.”
