Members Sharpen Their Skills During the ‘Up Your Game’ Workshop

The Up Your Game workshop at the SAG-AFTRA San Francisco-Northern California Local on March 4 featured instructor Jeffrey Weissman, who appeared in the films Pale Rider and the second and third installments of the Back to the Future trilogy.

Participants had the opportunity to perform their current audition sides, monologues and short scenes. Weissman provided direct, personalized feedback to help improve and strengthen performers’ pieces. With his extensive knowledge and experience on a variety of projects, he was able to push, heighten and deepen participants’ relationship with their work. It was apparent that many found Weissman’s feedback to others applicable to their own work.

The workshop provided a great opportunity for SAG-AFTRA members to meet, interact, learn, share and support one another, and they left the workshop enthused to apply the lessons to their current and future projects.
