Dear Member,
As I move into my third month as your local president, I’m grateful to the members who stepped up to answer the call for committee service, and I invite you to get engaged and involved when you see notices about events. As a reminder, Arizona-Utah Local events are always posted on our local pages here, and emails are sent out to your email address on file. If you aren’t seeing the emails, be sure to whitelist and add sagaftracommunications@sagaftra.org to your contact list. And, check your junk/spam regularly; they sometimes end up there.
As we get started post-strike and with the new Arizona production incentives in place and incentives already in Utah, I invite and encourage you to get yourself ready. Are your online profiles up to date? Does your agent have your updated resume and headshot? Do you have current video clips and a demo? How are your cold-read skills — iced or red hot? When the work comes to our local, we want Arizona-Utah actors to book the roles! That means we all need to be on top of our game.
To that end, we’ll be setting up additional Conservatory classes, organizing events and member get-togethers in all geographic regions of our local. Keep your eye on the website and your inbox for details.
